My husband fell and broke his shoulder last week. It is his left shoulder and he is left handed so he can not do anything for himself. He is still in the hospital on a Rehab floor.
Last night I was feeding him his dinner when a male nurse, that I have seen several times before, walked in and said "are you a relative"? I politely answered "yes, I am his wife". What I thought was - no, I just wander around hospitals at night looking for someone I can feed.
